Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.
What we collect
- Account details — name, email, phone number and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Booking details — travel dates, guest names, stay preferences and special requests.
- Payment metadata — transaction references and status. Card numbers are handled by our payment gateway and never stored on Otelbuk servers.
- Usage data — searches, pages viewed and device type, used to improve results and detect fraud.
How we use it
To confirm and service your bookings, to share the details a hotel needs to host you, to send transactional messages, and to improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
The property you booked, our payment gateway, and communication providers for transactional email and SMS. Each receives only what is needed for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Booking records are retained for seven years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Account data is deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from Profile settings, or by writing to privacy@otelbuk.com. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and session security, and analytics cookies to understand which features get used. You can decline analytics cookies without losing functionality.
