Banjara Hills Grand is a 168-room business hotel on Road No. 12, ten minutes from the financial district and twenty from Charminar outside peak hours. It is the kind of property built for people whose day is decided by a calendar invitation.
Rooms start at 340 square feet with a king or twin beds, blackout curtains, a large desk, a coffee machine and a marble bathroom with a rain shower. Club rooms on floors nine to twelve include lounge access, breakfast and evening drinks, and are worth the upgrade beyond two nights.
There are four restaurants including a Hyderabadi kitchen that does a serious biryani, plus a bar, a 25-metre outdoor pool, a full gym and eleven meeting rooms. Breakfast is a large buffet from 06:30, which suits early flights.
Weekday rates here are noticeably higher than weekends, the opposite of the leisure cities. If you can shift a stay to a Friday or Saturday you will pay considerably less for the same room.

The photos are accurate. Bathroom was modern with good pressure, and the linens were fresh. Would recommend to anyone visiting for a weekend. Would book here again without hesitating.

Friendly staff and a genuinely comfortable room. It rained the whole weekend and the in-room dining saved us. Prices were reasonable too.

Great value at this price. Hot water was instant, WiFi held up for video calls and housekeeping came by twice. The breakfast spread could use more variety. Would book here again without hesitating.

Check-in was quick and the room was ready before time. The bed was genuinely comfortable and the AC worked well through a warm night. Would book again. Getting a cab from here at 6am was no trouble at all.
