Bandra Loft House is six serviced studios in a converted 1930s bungalow on a lane behind Hill Road. Each unit was designed separately, one with exposed brick, another in terrazzo and teak, so ask for photographs of the specific studio if the look matters to you.
Every studio has a kitchenette with an induction hob, a fridge, a kettle and basic crockery, plus a washing machine. Beds are queen-sized with good mattresses and the WiFi is on a business line that holds up for calls. Housekeeping comes on alternate days rather than daily.
You are five minutes on foot from the cafés on Waterfield Road and about twelve from Bandra station, which is loud at rush hour. There is no reception desk — check-in is by code, with a manager reachable by phone from 08:00 to 22:00 and an emergency line after that.
Practical notes: check-in from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. Cancellation is moderate: free up to 72 hours before check-in, then part of the booking is charged. Unmarried couples are welcome with valid ID. Pets are not allowed. Local photo IDs are accepted at the desk. GST of 12% is added at checkout and shown as a separate line before you pay.

The photos are accurate. Bathroom was modern with good pressure, and the linens were fresh. Would recommend to anyone visiting for a weekend. Housekeeping was discreet and thorough.

Check-in was quick and the room was ready before time. The bed was genuinely comfortable and the AC worked well through a warm night. Would book again. Would book here again without hesitating.

Great value at this price. Hot water was instant, WiFi held up for video calls and housekeeping came by twice. The breakfast spread could use more variety. Getting a cab from here at 6am was no trouble at all.

Friendly staff and a genuinely comfortable room. It rained the whole weekend and the in-room dining saved us. Prices were reasonable too. One suggestion: put a second socket by the bed.
