Anjuna Sunset Resort sits on the cliff between Anjuna and Vagator, with a 22-metre infinity pool pointed straight at the water. It is a social property — live music four evenings a week and a pool bar that stays busy until late — so it is a poor match for anyone hoping for silence.
The 64 rooms and suites are arranged in low blocks around the pool. Standard rooms are 260 square feet with a balcony; the sea-facing suites add a sitting area and an outdoor tub. All have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a safe and a minibar restocked daily.
Two restaurants cover Goan and Mediterranean menus, breakfast runs to 11:00, and there is a spa with four treatment rooms. The flea market is ten minutes away by scooter and the resort rents them from reception. Rates roughly double between the third week of December and the first week of January.
Practical notes: check-in from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. Cancellation is moderate: free up to 72 hours before check-in, then part of the booking is charged. Unmarried couples are welcome with valid ID. Pets are not allowed. Local photo IDs are accepted at the desk. GST of 12% is added at checkout and shown as a separate line before you pay.

We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. The property is quieter than the photos suggest, which suited us perfectly. Front desk arranged a cab at 5am without any fuss.

Great value at this price. Hot water was instant, WiFi held up for video calls and housekeeping came by twice. The breakfast spread could use more variety. Getting a cab from here at 6am was no trouble at all.

Beautiful property with well-kept grounds. Our room had a small balcony that made the stay. Only note is that the restaurant closes a little early. The staff remembered our names by the second morning.

Solid stay for a work trip. Desk space was usable, the room was quiet and check-out was painless. Parking was easier than I expected for this area.

Location is the strongest point — everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Rooms are compact but very clean and the staff were helpful at every turn. Everything worked, which is rarer than it should be.
